Thistle bounced back with a 1st win over Morton in 12 attempts. After a tentative start by both teams, the game livened up. English hit the post, Murray cleared off the line then Morton hit the bar. Irons sprung the off-side trap and scored on the angle (55). Law was harshly sent off (2nd yellow, 60) but Thistle saw it out.
