It took Thistle time to come to terms with the infamous plastic pitch. All the chances went to Albion and they took the lead through a ruck of players (37). But for Murdoch it could have been worse. A better second half saw Kennedy head in a Johnston free-kick (51). There was no lack of effort after that but no goals.
