| The teams sparred with one another for some time and Charnley emerged as the play-maker. Wright clipped the bar as Thistle pressed but it was 0-0 at half-time. Charnley scored with a pen for hand ball and soon after McGlashan hit the bar and Elliot was on hand to score. Thistle were in control till the end. |
