After some rough tackles on Flood and Charnley the game settled to a rout. Goals by Flood, Charnley made it 2-0 then a defensive mistake led to a goal. Flood, Law, Flood and Charnley (pen) made it 6-1 at half-time. McConville's solo run was the pick of the second half formality along with Straiton's penalty.
