A strong Celtic team failed to impress against stubborn Thistle. An entertaining game saw Brough have some tremendous saves and Thistle had 2 strong pen claims rejected. Gallagher went close with a header just on half-time. The game went flat for the meagre crowd after half-time and a shot at the far post (75) won the tie.
