Back to their worst, Thistle (with Colin West from Chelsea on loan) failed to score with the strong wind behind them. Kelly's shot off the bar was their only first half chance. A needless foul by Walker gave East Fife the lead from the spot (47) and the game was finished (80) when slack defending led to the 2nd. 2nd bottom.
