McQuade and McDonald both cleared off the line then the post saved Thistle. Superb defending by Airdrie after half-time thwarted improving Thistle. The ref inexplicably chalked off a Kelly “goal” to award a pen but Donnelly (J) missed it (brilliant save, 68). J Donnelly was sent off after the final whistle.
