“Thistle of edge of abyss” (GH). Watson hit the wall with a free-kick then Falkirk went close. Brough was left helpless when they took the lead (17) with a header. Gilmour hit the bar but so did Falkirk and Brough was a busy man. Finesse went out the window as Thistle struggled desperately to level, but to no avail.
