Thistle deserved their lead when McDowall headed in a Kay free-kick (26). After all their good work, the lead was cancelled out when Brechin scored with their 1st real attack when the defence was split open and the scorer rounded Brough to tap in (34). Promotion hopes gone, just over 1,000 attended.
