| With a strong wind, sleet and hail at their backs Thistle almost scored (4) when Watson hit the bar from 25 yards. McDonald set up Fleck to lob the keeper (11) but Ayr levelled following a corner (20). They shot from every conceivable angle and distance after half-time and finally scored from a rebound off Brough's legs (86). |
