Injuries and suspensions called for Cormack's only appearance (from the bench). Brechin took the lead (8) when a bouncing ball deceived McNab. It was mainly the home side in attack but a 25-yarder from Buckley went close. They peppered the Thistle goal for most of the second half and a 2nd goal (88) won the points.
