Thistle, still with an outside chance of promotion, had most of the early play but were largely unconvincing. Queens missed a sitter in front of goal. Injuries to Doyle (J) and Dunlop didn't help the cause but sub Buckley crossed for Johnston to head home (43). Defeat for Queens relegated them.
