It was mostly Thistle in possession and although O'Hara went just wide with a header they never seriously threatened. A brilliant point-blank save by Rough (43) kept it at 0-0 and Jardine (66) and O'Hara (75) put Thistle well in the lead but a goal (85) made for a few anxious moments.
