Aberdeen won the championship with this point but Thistle made it tough for them (defeat would still have won it on goal difference). A fine solo effort by Melrose made it 1-0 (23) but MacKinnon's og (24) levelled things. Both teams had chances but it ended all square. Thistle ended 7th of 10, 10 points above safety.
