| The game started well enough but latterly got bogged down in the mud. United had the better players on show but Thistle (in sky-blue jerseys) had more energy. United went ahead (19) after Rough had hesitated at a corner but McAdam levelled (25). Thistle then had the best of things but couldn't score. A fair result. |
