Thistle squandered their first half chances and eventually fell out of the match. Rangers took the lead (7) then Park and Gibson went close as Thistle fought back. They had a shout for a pen rejected and had a good spell before half-time but Rangers' 2nd goal (looking off-side, 63) killed off Thistle's challenge.
