| Motherwell, stranded at the bottom, played 5 teenagers. They had the best of the chances although Melrose saw his header cleared off the line. It was even most of the afternoon and nothing went right for Thistle in front of goal. Motherwell were reduced to 10 men late on but it made no difference. |
