The Little Report Thistle sat in and hoped for a point and it almost worked. It was nearly all Aberdeen and Rough had some fine saves. Stout defending kept it scoreless until Aberdeen took the lead (73). Gibson levelled (drive from the edge of the box, 84) but joy was shot-lived when the winner was headed past Rough (86).
