It took ages for Thistle to get going against a good Brora side. Houston opened from 20 yards on the angle (42) to put Thistle ahead then just after half-time Somner scored with a penalty after he “looked as if he had taken a dive” (GH). He scored again before O'Hara and McQuade late on made it look better.
