A commanding first half brought only a Somner goal (42) with a vicious volley from a Mackie cross. Thistle fell away and Dumbarton deservedly equalised (a needlessly conceded pen, 62). Rough had some fine saves as Thistle held on then Somner tapped in (81) before Dumbarton hit the post.
