The Little Report After some early Motherwell pressure Thistle had the bulk of the play but good goalkeeping and poor shooting left things goalless at h-t. A better performance by Motherwell in the 2nd half with goals 57 and 65 sent Thistle home pointless, but they entered 1978 sitting creditably on 3rd top position.
