Montrose took the lead (21), Anderson cleared off the line, Somner flattened the keeper as things got rough. The lead was deservedly doubled 5 minutes after half-time. A better response saw Hansen (J) reduce the deficit (76) thanks to intercepting an attempted pass-back but Thistle couldn't salvage a point.
