Joe Craig had a header touched on to the bar after 5 minutes then he saw his penalty saved. Clydebank, the 2nd Div's only full-time team, matched Thistle and deserved the draw. McQuade volleyed home a McIntosh cross (66) but second half substitute Thomson blundered when he let a shot from 20 yards bounce over his body (68).
