Relegation beckoned as Thistle slumped and replaced Arbroath in 4th bottom. They fell behind to a cut-back (5) but a beautiful lob by McQuade (28) got Thistle back in it. Arbroath opened up the defence with regularity before half-time and Rough was a busy keeper. A goal (66) completed the misery.
