East Fife piled on the pressure and went close before Thistle's 1st chance with a McQuade shot. It was an isolated attack however as the Fifers were on top. Rough had fine saves just before and after half-time. 0-0 was looking attractive until Glavin smashed home Rae's late free-kick from 18 yards.
