Thistle led twice and never looked like losing. A header by McQuade put them ahead (35) but after a shot had rebounded off Rough, Newcastle (pretty much full strength) equalised (44). An excellent build up and goal from Glavin made it 2-1 (52) but ex-JAG Gibb scored (57) and Thistle had to settle for a draw.
