Hibs took the lead (19) with a soft penalty when a forward fell over Rae then a brilliant save by Rough rebounded off the bar and was blasted in (36). He had another excellent save to keep it 2-0 at half-time. After a bright start Thistle faded and an OG by Reid (80) completed a miserable day in the capital.
