| A goal by Coulston (8) after a defensive mix-up eased Thistle into the quarter finals. Alloa, facing a 5-1 aggregate, scored on the hour mark but it was of little consequence. By that time Thistle were content to allow Alloa to make the running but Rough and Campbell were in fine form and the result was never in doubt. |
