AGG: 4-3. Stranraer held Thistle comfortably for half an hour then headers by Rae and Coulston (both from corners, 18 and 44) made it 2-0. A pen (foul by Ralston on his debut) just after half-time perked up Stranraer and the best goal of the game made it 2-2 on the night just before the end but they left it too late.
