A diving header by Bone almost gave lively Thistle an early lead then East Fife almost took advantage of a poor pass-back by Rae. Campbell went off injured (30) and was replaced by Forsyth. Thistle had the better chances in the second half but it ended a goal apiece. Rae scored for Thistle (77) but the equaliser came 10 minutes later.
