Thistle went behind from a header (3) but they fought back and Bone presented Lawrie with an open goal, only for him to hit the post. Rae hit the bar as Thistle enjoyed a lot of pressure before half-time. The second half was more even with Rough in good form but an equaliser proved elusive due to weak finishing.
