A comfortable win for Saints who were 2-up in 27 mins. Duncan reduced the lead with a prod from a scramble (29) but soon it was 3-1. Duncan scored again (header, 64) but 2 quick goals in reply wrapped it up. Thistle fought on and Flanagan's late pen was saved, the rebound hit the bar and was headed clear.
