The Little Report Celtic “ambled into the second round” (GH) sweeping Thistle aside and scoring, it seemed, at will (2 in 3 mins, 4 in 13 mins). Thistle's feckless forwards gave the overwhelmed defence little respite despite the Celtic defence looking dodgy at times. An og (35) made it 3-1. A share of the £11,000 gate money helped.
