It only took Celtic 6 minutes to open the scoring then Coulston and Cunningham went close. However, Ritchie was soon back in action and Wallace completed his hat-trick (29 and 43). He got his 4th (74) to complete the scoring. Thistle were never in the game once the Celtic machine steam-rollered them.
