“Only“ 7,000 turned out to see Thistle marginally the better team but lacking guile up front. Forrest were over-physical and contributed little to the game. 2 cross-cum-shots by Duncan (15 and 72) hit the woodwork but he was hacked down frequently and Forrest were lucky only 2 of their players were booked. A friendly in name only.
