Thistle were on the back foot as Falkirk went close several times and they found Falkirk's off-side trap difficult to beat. Just as they got into the game (Duncan went close), a goal from a deflected shot put them behind (32). Falkirk had a goal disallowed and hit a post after half-time. In the end, lucky it was only 1-0.
