Thistle went behind when Niven let in a shot he thought was going wide (10) but Gallagher equalised with a spectacular 30-yard curving shot on the angle (38). A header (44) made it 2-1 then McParland's shot from 25 yards (62) levelled things again. Thistle dug in but began to panic and a penalty (84) settled it.
