Forrest dominated possession yet scarcely threatened. Duncan and McLindon were prominent but a goal put Thistle behind (46). They fought back when Duncan set up Roxburgh (57). From then on they were the better side and McParland finished off a good night's work (67), indeed, Duncan and Ewing might have made it 3 or 4 late on.
