The Little Report Hibs had the better start and Campbell had to clear off the line early on. A 25-yarder grazed the bar then Niven had a fine save to keep it 0-0 at h-t. Roxburgh went close then Campbell was injured and limped on the wing for the rest of the game. Hibs scored (55 and 61) as weakened Thistle finally wilted.
