What proved to be Thistle's last ever visit to Cathkin was an easy win. Bottom of the table Thirds seldom threatened, even before their No 5 went off injured (25). Hogan scored from a Cowan cross (16) and again (22). It should have been more emphatic against the 10 men but Thistle' play deteriorated and a Ewing pen (87) was the only second half goal.
