AGG: 2-3. The game went ahead despite a typhoid scare. Aberdeen scored with a shot deflected past Niven by Gibb (24). Duffy equalised (58) then Harvey missed a pen. It proved costly because goals (82 and 89) sealed the win. Thistle played 58 games this season; McParland played in every one.
