Morton were desperately unlucky and were the better team by far. They went 1-up with a first half pen by McGraw. Thistle's desperate defending and disjointed play suggested a big defeat but they hung on and Hainey hit the bar before a goal by Cunningham (86) meant Thistle won the section on goal average.
