“Exhilarating game at Firhill“ (GH). Duffy was the “supreme tactician“ and his body swerve laid on the 1st for Hainey (5). He scored again (75) with a pass from Fleming. Saints had some good spells but Thistle refused to be provoked by their rough play and harsh tackling and the victory was fully deserved.
