European Cup semi-finalists Dundee started the better then Smith and Gourley went close. A fine save by Niven kept it 0-0 at half-time. Soon it was all Dundee with Niven continually in action. One of his saves broke off Hogan for an OG (56). Duffy nodded in a Gourley cross (76) but the winner came a minute later.
