3rd bottom Albion scored with a bullet header after Thistle had had all the pressure (18) but McBride shot from 10 yards (23). Duffy hit the post, Albion hit the bar then Brown cleared off the line on half-time. Despite loads of Thistle pressure after half-time Albion scored 66 and 83 as Thistle faded. A desperately poor result.
