Thistle had nothing to show for their efforts in the snow except a Ewing header cleared off the line and numerous near misses. 2nd bottom Airdrie rallied and hit the bar and post just on half-time. Finally McBride scored with a Ewing cut-back from 18 yards (52). Smith later hit the post. In the end, a win despite the missed chances.
