The Little Report Thistle showed far more energy and enthusiasm on the frost-bound pitch and Thirds were strangely lethargic although they went 1-up (15). Thistle countered through Smith (29) and a smart Nimmo header (on his debut, 36). The 2nd half saw some narrow escapes for the Thistle defence but they held out. Up to 11th.
