The Little Report Motherwell were worthy winners thanks to good play and goals 12, 24 (pen), 63 and 70. Thistle were without the injured Davidson and the defence was split open too often. They struggled to cope with incisive forwards. MacKenzie had a shot cleared off the line then Wilson hit the post but they were well beaten.
