A pen for hand ball gave Dundee the lead (10). Thistle hit back but found the Dundee keeper playing well. A hard cross hit a defender's knee and went in (48) then Smith cracked a 20-yarder into the top corner (56) to make it 2-1. Dundee levelled again but another OG (header in his own net) got the season off to a winning start.
