The Little Report Hearts (1 defeat in 21) went 11 points clear at the top and were too good. It was 3-0 before Wright scored from 8 yards after McParland had gone close but it was 4-1 at h-t. Thomson had some fine saves (including a pen, 63). Thankfully, Hearts eased up after h-t. Wright's goal was the 1st they conceded in 1958.
